What I do for a living: I am Vice President of Loan Processing and Servicing
for Diamond Bay Investments, Inc.
Planning for the future…I am a senior at University of Nevada –
Las Vegas.
My favorite color is blue.
I love all kinds of music from old country to rock and roll to classical.
Favorite Foods – Spicy Foods – Fruits and Veggies and Hot Dogs
Love to watch basketball and Baseball – not so much a fan of football,
unless I am watching it in person
I don’t have any pets, but if I did, I would have a dog or two, a
horse or five and cows
Fall and Spring are my favorite times of the year and I love summer because
the days are longer and the weather is perfect for hiking and fishing. My
favorite movies are Tombstone and Gone in 60 Seconds
I love hugs and kisses – but hugs are really great because sometimes
I just need a hug
Rain in the desert, leather, horses, puppies and babies smell the best –
I love to smell things baking in the oven, and I love the smell of the morning
- there is just something about the sunrise that makes the air smell good.
I am inspired by children’s laughter, the smiles of older generations, justice in the face of evil, unconditional love, and beating the odds but I am afraid of dying before I do everything I am supposed to do hear on earth…
I believe that everyone is born with a good heart – and that no matter what, somewhere in peoples hearts is a light that just needs some polishing – that does not mean however, that I don’t believe in capital punishment – because I do… But I also believe that despite my wish and inner thoughts about the next life being better than this one, I think that this is the one shot we have to get the Lord’s work done and to be respectful and charitable people. I don’t think that going to church or praying or reading the scriptures are the only things that we have to do to reach that other side…I believe it is all about charity. But if there isn’t anything over on the other side, that’s ok – at least I will have made a difference to all I can in the mean time.
I don’t have any tattoos…but
if I did, I would have my contract, “I am a Loving, Passionate, Independent
and Beautiful Woman’ tattooed in some language on my hip
I love to be outdoors and with my family – all the better if I can do
them both at the same time. Love to read, hike, take pictures, go fishing,
play softball, clean, bake, sew, run, and drive fast ?
What I am currently up to….Working on handling the articles of incorporation
and bylaws for my foundation – The Soaring Dreams Children’s Foundation
– so that eventually I can file for non-profit status and the land I
am buying in Texas can be part of that foundation! I am going to build a ranch
there where kids with troubled pasts can come and work and learn self reliance
and also team work.
I am also working with my good friend Jenn to charter a Civitan Club here
in LV, CIVITAN Accelerated – where our monthly meetings will focus on
leadership and our service projects will better the community.
